Shadow bastion game room2/28/2024 Games are still made for the same platforms, whether people own SDTVs or HDTVs, so the problem lies with the software. That's true, but in the examples you mentioned, it's really just a hardware change. It does suck for those people, but it will always happen that way. There will always be a period where some people are stuck with the old format and everyone is making stuff for the new format. said: It's pretty similar to cassette tapes/CDs, VHS tapes/DVDs, and eventually DVDs/Blu-rays. I asked because sometimes people say stuff like "once you go HD, you can never go back" or "playing in SD makes me sick" so I was wondering if the visual change was really that significant. It's pretty similar to cassette tapes/CDs, VHS tapes/DVDs, and eventually DVDs/Blu-rays. A color blind person will always be color blind.someone with a SDTV will have a HD display at some point, if for no other reason then that their SDTV broke and they had to get something new. Even if those with color blindness are in the minority, for example, that doesn't mean that developers should simply ignore those people in order to appeal solely to the majority. It's not simply a matter of keeping up with the times, but a matter of attempting to appeal to as much of your user base as possible.
